This is an excellent, ergonomic NKJV equivalent. The Geneva Bible, updated. The print is a little small but it has pictures and good notes at the bottom. One of the best features is (it is hard cover) that you can open to Genesis 1 or the concordance in the back and it stays open without having to hold it down, an excellent "freature". Great Bible.great job... really easy and quick! My only commenrt is... you could have given more info about how much writing there would, or would not be in among the texts. It turned out fine though. I guess it was just another trial of faith! It took me awhile to find this. I didn't like the changes in the format when they changed it to the" New Geneva Reformation Study Bible". The new title was fine, but they changen the format to having the references down the middle of the page instead of being on the side like it has been. Also, I was anxiously waiting for a version to be printed in the NASB version.I have been studying in all the translations to date, but I do prefer the "New American Study Bible", which is what I "learned" on since I became a believer in 1976.Anyhow, God bless and keep up the fight!( in His name of course ! )John Vaughan, aka
[email protected] enjoy reading the NKJV. I have been looking for a study Bible with “Reformed” study notes, and so this “study” Bible is an answer to prayer- in my favorite version. The main points of reformed theology are noted throughout. The only downside is that this particular edition is hard-cover and thin-paged. It is more like a textbook than a leather-bound, gold-leaf Bible.Perfect it was just what I neededIt’s jam packed with information and very small print. Going to be hard getting through it!Superb notes. Deepens understanding and contextI gave my copy away, only to discover that this book is apparently out of print. I'm so happy to have a copy, and seller's description was SPOT-ON. I'll gladly do business with this seller again--there's no stretching the truth here. This was a good study bible, however, what I really needed was the Geneva Bible. Ended up returning it.
