Bought this book from the author 25 years ago, loved it, marked in it, treasured it. Loaned to a friend who lost it. Was so glad to find it again. Wonderful book about Churchill, his resiliency, his personality and his methods of expression. I have all kinds of Churchill books but this one is like no other. The author used to tour the country doing terrific impersonations -- with full explanation -- and so his depth of understanding of Churchill's quirks, mindset, strengths, faults, etc. was deepened by the kind of study necessary to do the impersonations.
